Uruguay to the Semi-Finals

Uruguay is on to the semi-finals of the world cup after an extremely dramatic win over Ghana, the last African team left in the tournament. With seconds left in extra time, Luis Suarez swatted a header off the goal line and was ejected immediately. However, Asomoah Gyan hit the ensuing penalty kick off the crossbar, sending the game to a penalty shootout. Fernando Muslera, the 24-year-old Uruguay goal keeper, came up big in the shootout, saving two consecutive penalty shots. Sebastian Abreu then came in to seal the victory with a cheeky chip shot. In case anyone missed it, the tying goal from Diego Forlan can be seen above. Enjoy one of the better goals of this year's world cup.
