Slick the Kid-International Swag (Ft. C3K)

Got this one on the email the other day and after a hiatus of posts, figure I'll throw this up with my first post back. Song is by Slick the Kid, a new artist here at SSH, featuring C3K from AP Bop. We've featured the Bop here before but Slick the Kid is new. He's an artist who hails from Maryland (MoCo what up) and currently goes to school at UMD. He actually went to the same high school as Kam Royal. Songs solid, nice cover art, all in all a worthy download. To hear more from these guys hit them up on Twitter @WordsNickSays and @APBop. Or check out their facebook pages: Slick the Kid/AP Bop. Download below, enjoy.

G4 Boyz- I Do Me ft. Lil Wayne

New song from some random guys that have connections with Weezy. The song is actually pretty tight and I would definitely recommend grabbing it. Enjoy.

Dev- In The Dark (Prod. The Cataracs)

New song from Dev, the girl you generally here in The Cataracs' songs. It was produced by those same guys and it's great for your next party. Download below.

Owl City- Alligator Sky ft. B.o.B

For this track, Owl City recruited one of our favorites here at SSH: Bobby Ray. This dude seems to be everywhere and is so versatile. Who would have thought we would ever here B.o.B on an Owl City track? Somehow, it works out perfectly and I guarantee you will be playing this song non-stop. Enjoy.

Diggy- Click Clack Away ft. Bruno Mars

Great song from Diggy Simmons. Bruno Mars takes care of the choruses while Diggy kills the verses. Not much else to say.

Aer- Come and Go

The boys of Aer sent this track over earlier today. It's the next single off their upcoming project The Reach, which drops May 9th. It's another great chill song to help you get through your finals or to just jam out to on a nice day. Make sure to check them out on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. Enjoy.

Neon Hitch- Silly Girl (Brenton Duvall Remix ft. Wiz Khalifa)

New shit from the kid Brenton Duvall. No surprise, the song is pretty sick and it's got that classic Brenton feel that we've all come to love. It features the first verse from Khalifa's No Sleep and it fits in perfectly. Download below and enjoy.

Dave Patten- How Good ft. Meek Mill

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, we were dealing with some issues. Anyways, I came across this song a few days ago and it has really grown on me. We've posted some Dave Patten on here before, but I think this is by far the best. It's a great song for the summer that can help you make it through finals. Watch the video above and download the mp3 below.

Young Church- All That She Wants Remix

Here's a great mash up from Young Church that combines songs from Biggie, Kanye West, and Ace of Base. Not gonna lie, this is probably one of the sickest mash ups I've heard in a while, so make sure to grab it.

New Boyz- I Don't Care ft. Big Sean

This time, the New Boyz take on a version of the song Heads Will Roll, and enlist Big Sean to help them. You all know that Big Sean hardly disappoints, and the New Boyz can definitely make a party jam. In this case, both are true. Big Sean crushes his verse, and the finished product is definitely a song that you could put on at any party. Enjoy.

Tayyib Ali- Supermodel (Video+Song)

New shit from the dude Tayyib Ali, and now I definitely can't wait for his next mixtape to drop. His past few songs have been absolutely sick, and this song is no exception. It sounds a lot like Big Pun's Still Not A Player, but I can't complain. Check out the video above and download the track below.

DJ Drama- Oh My ft. Fabolous, Roscoe Dash & Wiz Khalifa

This track actually came out late last week, but I was too lazy to put it up. Sorry about it. Anyways, here goes the first release off Drama's upcoming project, and it doesn't disappoint. It's a great song for any party or pregame, so make sure to grab this one.

Speaky- Who Are You/Pretty Boy Swag

This mashup is crazy. Who would ever think to combine a classic like Who Are You with Soulja Boy's Pretty Boy Swag? Apparently this guy, and what results is a song that I haven't stopped listening to for two days. Check it out below.

David Guetta- Where Dem Girls At ft. Nicki Minaj & Flo-Rida

New party banger from Guetta. Unfortunately, Nicki uses some pretty annoying accents on this track, but it's still perfect for your Saturday night. Grab it below.

Chiddy Bang- Heatwave ft. Mac Miller

New Chiddy Bang featuring the kid Mac Miller. I don't think I have to say much else. Enjoy.

New Brenton Duvall that he just released via Facebook. He mashes Closing Time by Semisonic with Biggie's Watchu Want. It's a pretty sick mash-up with some additions from Brenton so make sure to check it out. Enjoy.

Samples- P.S.A.

After I posted that crazy banger called Let's Go Crazy by Ben Samples the other day, I decided to do some research and found this incredible track. He remixes Jay-Z's classic P.S.A. and it's pretty amazing. Check it out below and definitely make sure to grab this one. You can also check out all of his other stuff here.

Great remix of the Mike Posner track. AudioDax remixes the beat and also throws in a verse to make a new banger. Download and enjoy.

T.I.- Celebrate

Here goes the tagless version of one of my favorite songs off Tip's latest mixtape, F*ck A Mixtape. It's a pretty sick song so check it out below.

Ozzy Osbourne x Lil Jon- Let's Go Crazy (Samples Remix)

Wow. This remix is something else. It was made by the same guy that helped make the Wiz Khalifa Black & Yellow glitch remix that I posted a while back. This time, they take Ozzy's Crazy Train, add some crazy glitch shit, and throw some Lil Jon and Trick Daddy vocals on top. Get this NOW.

Xaphoon Jones- Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Vol. 2

It's finally here. The newest installment in the producer's personal mixtape series. I haven't heard any of the songs as of right now, but I'm gonna go ahead and assume they're all pretty much amazing. Head over to illRoots and download this ASAP.

CMG-Beach Cruisin'

Got this jam via email a couple of days ago but just now are we getting around to putting it up because our email has hit a logjam. Anyways, introducing to you CMG, a group from Arizona (shouts 480) that has been gaining popularity as of late. This song, "Beach Cruisin'" is honestly painful to watch right now just because it's still 40 degrees here in the DMV. BUT the video is dope and the song is as well. It's a feel good song that makes you want to, well, go to the beach. Here's a little bit more about the group, courtesy of Stags Flow:

CMG consists of 4 artists all based out of Arizona. They show off all of their musical skills on one very smooth and catchy song released as their first single "Beach Cruisin". First to go is Rapper ERA, Cousin of NFL star Terrell Suggs. Although he is the least experienced of the group he tends to wear his heart on his sleeve unleashing lyrics about his childhood struggles and hard times. ViceVersa is the extremely talented singing duo responsible for the whole concept of the song. At age 21 and 18 ViceVersa signed under KingPen Publishing as songwriters. Their vocals mix exceptionally well with Futuristics rapping capabilities. Futuristic has been rapping since the age of 8 and opened up for various artists in the industry such as Sean Kingston and Petey Pablo. Together CMG is planning to take over the country as a label by creating great creative music combined with a commercial sound.

Video above, download below. Enjoy

XV- Foreign Exchange Student ft. Miami Horror

New music from Vizzy. It's a real upbeat, feel-good type song and XV flows perfectly over it. Definitely grab this one.

Brand new music from the OFWGKTA member. It uses a pretty sick smooth sample and Hodgy kills the verses as usual. Listen and download below.

Lupe Fiasco- Who Are You Now ft. B.o.B

Another leftover from Lasers. This one features Bobby Ray, and although I wouldn't say it's as good as Stereo Sun, it's still pretty sick. Download below and enjoy.

Monday, March 28, 2011

Mac Miller- Child Celebrity

New Mac Miller track that describes his new lifestyle now that he has basically blown up as one of the most promising young artists out. He uses a faster flow than what we would generally expect from him, but the song is still pretty sick. Listen below and enjoy.

Frank Ocean-Swim Good (Ft. Dave Raps)

This joint was sent over a couple days ago (been behind on the emails lately) from the man Vee Nyce. Song is by Frank Ocean from Odd Future featuring Dave Raps. Nice song good beat, nice lyrics. Nice to see our boy Dave Raps working with higher end artists (OFWGKTA) as he is definitely climbing the ladder. Anyways song below. Enjoy.

Swim Good

B.o.B.-No Future

After Tyler the Creator took a shot at a couple of artists on his hit song "Yonkers", one of them has fired back. Bobby Ray released "No Future" a diss back to the group Odd Future. Bob definitely goes in on this track. Not sure it's really a beef though. Despite Odd Futures fame of late, B.o.B. is still the man while Tyler and company still have a lot to prove. Anyways, song below. Enjoy.

No Future

OnCue-Eat Your Words (Video)

Another video this time from OnCue. Dope visuals to a pretty deep song. Love how he connects with his fans and is telling a story of his career. Not a whole lot to say. Another artist who will most definitely blow up in 2011. Watch and Enjoy.

Young Prince & Brenton Duvall-Strange Times (Video)

After a break from blogging, I'm back. And. Wow. All I can say about this video by YP and Brenton. Personally I was always a big fan of both of these two but after watching this video I can honestly say I think so much more of them. This video really lets both of their personalities shine and it felt like they were really trying to make it for the fans. Great production by For The Future. Anyways watch and enjoy. By the way, it dropped last night and already has almost 4,000 views.

Lil Wayne- If I Die Today ft. Rick Ross

New track off Tha Carter IV. It's a really sick song, but it sounds a lot like Ricky's I'm Not A Star. In fact, they even use some lines from Ross' song in this one. Regardless, it's worth the download. Enjoy.

New song from the Carolina duo that features DC's Young Prince. It samples Bittersweet by The Verve and Tim Gunter does the rest. Download below.

Check the video out above and download below.

Katy Perry- E.T. ft. Kanye West (Video)

Here goes the new video for the Katy Perry track with Kanye. It seems really similar to the All of the Lights video in the way that the lyrics flash up on the screen and it's trippy as shit. Check it out.

Sunday, March 13, 2011

Lupe Fiasco- Stereo Sun

So this is a track that was apparently left off Lasers. To be honest, I don't know why they would cut it, because this song is fire. Must download. That is all.

Game- Red Nation ft. Lil Wayne

New track from Game that is set to be off the upcoming R.E.D. Album. Game's verses are pretty decent  and Weezy takes care of the chorus (I wish he would have gotten a verse though).  It also samples Zombie Nation, which should make it pretty popular with March Madness coming up. Listen below and download from the player.

Chris Brown- Look At Me Now ft. Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes (Video)

Here goes the new video for the F.A.M.E. track. It's nothing you haven't seen before, but Breezy has some tight dancing at times and the song is pretty sick on its own. Check it out.

King Fantastic X Rusko- Why? Where? What? (Troublemaker Edit)

Brand new version of the classic King Fantastic track. It's basically just a mash up of Rusko's Hold On and the original version of Why? Where? What? What results is something pretty spectacular, and everyone should make sure to check this out. Enjoy.

Sick new track from Timeflies. It's got a little bit of everything in it, so definitely check this one out and download below. Enjoy.

Asher Roth- More Cowbell

New track from Asher. It samples the cowbell SNL skit with Christopher Walken at the beginning. The beat is really smooth and Roth's lines are real solid. Enjoy. (click play and the download link will appear)
