Enrique Iglesias- Tonight (Hyper Crush Remix) ft. Sky Blu

Awesome remix of Enrique Iglesias' party song. Hyper Crush always makes great remixes, and this time they feature Sky Blu of LMFAO. Definitely a song you'll want for your next party. Enjoy (Download from the player).

Wale- 911 ft. Yung Joc

A few days late on this shit too, but I've been a bit busy lately. Anyways, here's another song from the DC native, this time featuring the hard to find Yung Joc. I feel like I haven't heard one of his songs in years. It's a pretty dope song though, so check it out.

911

Asher Roth & Nottz- Rawth (Mixtape)

A few days late on this, but here's the new mixtape from Roth and Nottz. It's pretty good. Typical Roth shit that you would expect, but entertaining nonetheless. Enjoy.
Rawth

Eminem- Syllables ft. Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Ca$his & Stat Quo

Apparently this song is old, but it's still good. It also sends a great message, that rap songs are no longer about what the rappers are actually saying, but just about the sounds behind them. Keep that in mind when listening to songs in the future. Enjoy.

Dr. Dre- Topless (ft. Eminem & Nas)

New track that is rumored to be off Detox. Anything that features heavy hitters like Eminem and Nas had better be a sick song, and this is no exception. Maybe the long awaited Dre album will actually drop at some point, and maybe it will actually be good. Let's hope for the best. Enjoy.

Chris Webby- Best in the Burbs (Mixtape)

Chris Webby dropped his 5th mixtape called Best in the Burbs and this shit is fire. I only needed to listen to the intro to know it was gonna be a great 'tape. Some people don't like Webby, others love him. I'm one of those who love him. I think he brings a lot more to his raps then other similar artists like Mac Miller and Sammy Adams. He also works with some well established artists and producers on this mixtape such as Big Krit, Joell Ortiz, Statik Selektah, and Ski Beatz. Dope cover art too. Definitely worth the download. Enjoy.

Sammy Adams ft. Doc Ish-U Like, They Like

New song from Boston's Boy called U Like, They Like. Chill song that you can kick back and relax to. I'm still not sold on Sammy Adams being anything more than a rich kid with a good autotuned voice (he doesn't use it here) but I'm starting to like some of his stuff. Anyways, download below.

Wale- Let's Chill ft. Lloyd

New shit from the DC favorite. He gets Lloyd to do the hook on this track and it's pretty good. Download directly from the soundcloud player (the little down arrow). Enjoy.

Gilbere Forte- King Tut Freestyle

New shit from Gilbere Forte, freestyling over one of the tracks from N.E.R.D.'s Nothing.

King Tut

K'naan- Take A Minute (Video)

New video from K'naan for one of my favorite songs. Great stuff. Enjoy.

Wiz Khalifa- Black & Yellow G-Mix ft. Snoop Dogg, Juicy J & T-Pain

Don't know how this one matches up to the original, but any song with Snoop on such a good beat is worth posting. Enjoy.

Black & Yellow G-Mix

Lil Scrappy- That's Her RMX ft. B.o.B. & Roscoe Dash

Tight remix featuring Bobby Ray, one of my favorite artists out right now. Don't like Scrappy that much, but Roscoe and B.o.B. are legit. Real catchy chorus with an sick beat. Definite lock for parties. Enjoy.

Westcoastsynthesizerbeachbumgangstermusic

Jae Millz- Green Goblin ft. Chris Brown (Video+MP3)

Another song that has Breezy rapping. And to be honest, I kinda like it. I think the more Chris Brown diversifies his shit, the better he'll be. Anyways, this is supposed to be the song that establishes Jae Millz as a legit figure in the game, but who really knows. Download below.

Feed Me-Blood Red

So I'm not a huge dubstep guy but the more I listen to it the more I like it. This song is sick and definitely is worth a download. The drop takes a while but all in all it's a great dubstep track. This song will be featured on Feed Me's 8 track EP called Feed Me's Big Adventure due out on Christmas. Download below. Enjoy.

Swizz Beatz- Hot Steppa #1 ft. Eve

Sick track from Swizz. He's been doing this Monday release thing like Kanye's Good Fridays, but this is really the first one that's actually really good. Features Eve with some nice rhymes. Enjoy.

Hot Steppa #1

Potomac Boys Club- Lights! (Feat. Ellie Goulding, Waka Flocka, and Wale)

Wow. Heard this song this morning and it is SICK. Could already be my favorite song ever. Made by Patrick McKelvy and Brenton Duvall, the song is a great party song with sick bass. Brenton Duvall continues to impress with his song making skills, as does Patrick McKelvy. Give it a listen and download. You're insane if you don't. Enjoy.

Kid Cudi & Snoop Dogg- That Tree (Nukemosh Remix)

I don't know how long this song has been out, but I can't believe I'm just finding it. Great remix to an already great song. Listen and download.

That Tree (Nukemosh Remix)

Aer- We R Who We R (Remix)

Here's another sick song from Aer. These guys continue to impress me. This time they cover Kesha's We R Who We R, using an acoustic background that creates a real chill sound. Check it out and download.

Mike Stud-Big Dreams (Feat. Kam Royal)

New song from Mike Stud featuring Kam Royal called Big Dreams. Good song with a good vibe. Mike Stud goes to Duke and can sing and rap. He does both pretty well too. Kam lays down a solid verse to compliment the rest of the song. Overall very nice. Expect to see more from Mike Stud as well as Kam (who seems to be putting out new music every other day). Download below. Enjoy.

DJ WhoQuestion-Big Big Trouble

Sick mashup from a very talented DJ out of Brookline, MA. His name is DJ WhoQuestion and he is a freshman at Wash U in St. Louis. Not gonna lie this is the only mashup I've heard but it definitely needed to be posted. This is the title song off his last album Big Big Trouble and it's ill. He's currently working on his next mixtape. Definitely looking forward to hearing that. Download below. Enjoy.

Wiz Khalifa- Real Estate

Brand new stuff from Wiz. He just keeps cranking out songs these days. Update: Apparently this beat is from one of T.I.'s songs from the new album. I guess we'll have to see which is better. Download below. Enjoy.

Real Estate

OnCue- Leftovers (Mixtape)

Although OnCue just released his last mixtape two months ago, here he is again releasing another one. While this one really only consists of songs that didn't make the cut for Cuey Sings The Blues, it's not just a collection of mediocre songs. These songs are real tight. Download and enjoy.

Leftovers

Trey Songz- #Lemmeholddatbeat (Mixtape)

As a huge fan of Trigga, I've been waiting on this mixtape for a while. I think his remixes are the shit. Anyways, this mixtape consists of 8 Triggamixes and 8 originals. Download below. Enjoy.

Big Sean- Big Nut Bust

Another song from Travis Barker's upcoming Let The Drummer Get Wicked mixtape. It's a sick ass song. Travis lays down a nice beat, while Big Sean adds some great vocals. Enjoy.

Big Nut Bust

Kid Cudi - Mojo So Dope (Official Video)

New video for KiD CuDi's "Mojo So Dope". Video shows Cudder being a bit goofy which is fun to see. I know most people said they expected more out of him after hearing the latest album but the more and more I listen to it, the more and more I like it. I think it's great. Anyways, check out the video above. Enjoy.

In My Zone 2 - Chris Brown (Mixtape)

After a Thanksgiving hiatus I'm back. Chris Brown just dropped his mixtape In My Zone 2 to follow up his previous mixtape Fan of a Fan. I personally like Breezy rapping and for those of you who do as well, this mixtape is definitely worth the download. Big Sean is also featured on a couple of tracks that are dope. Anyways. Download and enjoy.

Saturday, November 27, 2010

Chrisette Michele- Let Freedom Reign (ft. Talib Kweli & Black Thought)

Title track from her upcoming album with two of the top lyricists out right now. Enjoy.

Macklemore- The Unplanned Mixtape

Brand new stuff from the Seattle rapper. After hearing his V.S. EP, I couldn't help but get this and give it a listen. It's pretty good, and I recommend that you all download it as well.

Monday, November 22, 2010

Mac Miller- Knock Knock (Video)

Dope visuals for one of my favorite songs out right now. Mac Miller always brings it, and if you haven't gotten this song yet, or for that matter the entire K.I.D.S. mixtape, you should probably get on that. This kid is only 19 years old, and he's about to blow the roof off the industry. Just watch and enjoy.

Kanye West & Jay-Z- That's My Bitch

New track from Yeezy and Jay. Apparently, this song was supposed to be on MBDTF, but it didn't make the cut. Anyways, it's still a good track from two of the best in the game. Unfortunately, it still has tags, but an untagged version should be out soon. Enjoy. Update: No Tags

T.I. ft. Kanye West & Kid Cudi- Welcome To The World

Another sick track featuring Kanye. Kid Cudi's on the chorus, and Kanye and Tip add some quality verses. I guess people were waiting for Kanye's album to drop to put out some additional Yeezy songs. Enjoy.

Welcome To The World [Tags]

Fashawn- Dark Fantasy Freestyle

New track courtesy of Fashawn. This time, he flows over Kanye's Dark Fantasy. It's pretty good. Download and enjoy.

Lloyd Banks ft. Eminem- Where I'm At [CDQ]

This song came out a few weeks ago all tagged up and shit, but here's the official version of the Itunes bonus track. The full album can be found on Itunes NOW. This track is pretty sick and you can download it here for free. Enjoy.

BrunoJackson Feat. Kam Royal-It's Alright

New song from BrunoJackson featuring Kam Royal. To be honest I didn't really hear of BrunoJackson till before this song but I will definitely start listening to more of their stuff. Real chill song with a nice flow. Kam Royal, fresh off his new mixtape, throws down a nice verse. BrunoJackson for those of you who don't know are two dudes from VA Beach, VA and got their own mixtape called The Coolest Kidz at da Oceanfront. I'm about to go check that out right now. But as far as "It's Alright" it's definitely worth a download. Link below. Enjoy.

C3J (of AP Bop)-Hip Hop Hooray

My buddy from the homeland showed me this freestyle. I must say I usually don't post friends "raps" but this is insane. This is a song by C3J, a member of AP Bop. The Bop are from Bethesda, MD and apparently have been making songs for over a year now. This song though just features C3J and is very impressive. It's nice to hear his flow over an old school beat. These guys have been working on a mixtape called Whine & Cheese and it's due out within the next few months. Oh and by the way... Dude's only a Junior in high school. Download below. Enjoy.

Wiz Khalifa-Stoned

Dope new Wiz Khalifa song that will probably be on his much anticipated album. Not a whole lot to say about this other than its pretty sick. Download below courtesy of wizkhalifa.org. Taylor Gang or headbutt a sword.

Machine Gun Kelly- Lace Up (Mixtape)

Here's a brand new mixtape from Machine Gun Kelly the rapper, not to be confused with the gangster of the prohibition era. He's a greatly unknown rapper who actually has some really good material. I've gotten the chance to listen to most of this mixtape, and from what I've heard, it's really nice. Anyways, download it and give it a listen. You'll probably like what you hear. Enjoy.

B.o.B.- Beast Mode (MP3)

So I posted the video for this song a few days ago, and now he's released the mp3 version. Be on the look out for more new songs from B.o.B. in the next few weeks since his mixtape is coming out real soon. Download below.

Black Glove (Gypsy and the Cat vs. Wiz Khalifa)- Aeroplane On The Grind (

What song has Wiz Khalifa made that hasn't been mashed up? It seems like everyday there's a new mash up with one of his songs, but I can't really complain because they're usually sick. This is not exception. Definitely worth the download. Enjoy.

B.o.B.- Beast Mode (Video)

Here's the first song Bobby has released off his next mixtape, No Genre, which is due out December 7th. We haven't gotten a hold of the mp3 yet, but this song will definitely be a hot download. Enjoy.

Lil' Wayne & Birdshit-Fire Flame Remix

Weezy's first song since being released from jail. All I can say is... wow. Everyone knew he was gonna come back with mad raps once he got out. This song definitely doesn't disappoint. It's Birdman's track but Wayne definitely killed it. Plus you can actually understand what he's saying. Can't wait to hear more songs from Lil' Wayne. Leave a comment with what you think and give it a download. Definitely worth it.

Kam Royal- Business As Usual (Mixtape)

Here's the mixtape from Washington, DC native Kam Royal. He's currently a sophomore at Tulane but still reps the DMV real hard. The mixtape is really good, and the cover art is pretty tight. He manages to bring a different type of sound to the rapping industry, using a lot of advanced vocabulary that you generally don't hear in rap these days. He also seems to rap about just the shit he knows, which is really nice when you compare it to kids who try to rap about money, cars, and women as if they actually experience that everyday. Anyways, download the mixtape and give it a listen. Enjoy.

Aer- Water on the Moon (Mixtape)

Here's a tight mixtape that came out a few weeks ago. I think that a lot of people haven't yet heard of Aer, and they bring a really cool sound with their music. It's a combo of acoustic instrumentals, nice vocals, and chill rap. I think you guys should really listen to them. Download below.

J. Cole- Friday Night Lights (Mixtape)

So this is my first post in a really long time. I've been real busy with a lot of shit so I wasn't able to update regularly. Anyways, what a good way to start posting again. J. Cole hooks us up with his newest mixtape, and it truly is great. I'm still in the process of listening to the whole thing, but from what I've heard so far, it's awesome. Can't wait for his album to come out. Download below. Enjoy.

Sam Adams- Party Records (Mixtape)

While there are several Sam Adams haters out there, myself partially included, we must admit, he makes songs that people can't help but listen to. This mixtape is no different. However, he introduces a very new sound through Party Records called hip hop dubstep (pretty self-explanitory). I think it's really tight. My favorite songs so far include All That and Hold On. Definitely check it out. Enjoy.

Waka Flocka- O Let's Do It (Heroes+Villains RMX 2)

I don't know how long this has been out for, but I just came across it and HOLY FUCK. This remix is too filthy. Definitely worth the download. Enough said. Enjoy.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Slaine- Run It

Here's a nice song from Slaine (to be honest, I had never heard of him, but this song is tight). Also, this song is going to be on the soundtrack for The Town, which was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Download link below.

Sunday, September 19, 2010

Black Cards- Club Called Heaven ft. Chiddy Bang

Here's a new song from Black Cards with a verse from Chiddy. It's a different kind of sound, but I think it's a really good song. Might have to check out their other stuff. Download below.

Big Boi- Follow Us Remix ft. Vonnegutt

Here's the official Vonnegutt remix for Follow Us. This time, a live instrumental is put behind the vocals and Kyle Lucas adds a really nice verse. I undecided on how it compares to the orinigal, but it's really fucking good. Enjoy.

The Cataracs- Vibrator ft. Gucci Mane

So I'm pretty sure that this song dropped last week, but I've been dealing with school and shit these days so I haven't had time to update the blog. Anyways, you can expect that same sound that you find in all of their other songs, while Gucci adds a nice verse to provide something new. Download below.

Big Sean- Finally Famous Vol. 3 (Mixtape)

Finally, Big Sean released the third installment of his Finally Famous series. After countless leaks and promises of releasing the mixtape, we finally get to actually hear the real thing. Unfortunately, there are a few songs that are a bit old, like Supa Dupa Lemonade and Glenwood. Still, it's a really nice collection, with features from Mike Posner, Bun B, and Drake, among others. Download below.

Kanye West- Monster ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Bon Iver

After claiming that he will release a five song EP with Jay-Z, Kanye West dropped this sick track. His verse is absurdly good, and the beat is real nice. Definitely worth the download. Link below.

J. Cole- Blow Up

J. Cole once again brings the fire with this new track. The beat is really nice and his lyrics are on point as usual. Oh, by the way, he produced this himself. Enjoy.

Kanye West- See Me Now ft. Beyonce & Charlie Wilson

Thank you Kanye, for dropping more quality music. This song is pretty fucking good, and Yeezy's album is looking pretty fucking good right now after the two songs he's released. I think this song has a really cool sound to it and it's definitely worth the download. Enjoy.

Mike Posner- 31 Minutes To Takeoff (Album)

Finally, Mike Posner's long awaited debut album has dropped. I'm a bit late on posting this since I was at the beach when the album came out. To be completely honest, it hasn't met my expectations, but then again, I think I expected a bit too much. Listen for yourself. The album is on iTunes.
